

Jalessa Hurd, originally from Ashdown, AR, has passionately pursued education reform and equity throughout her career in Tulsa. He looks forward to sharing his passion for health and fitness and using it as a tool to teach students life skills through excellence, teamwork, integrity, and hustle. Tyron will be joining Tulsa Honor Academy as a Middle School Physical Education Teacher. Over the years Tyron has worked with a wide range of individuals but he is now more focused on youth and how to establish healthy behaviors early on as they grow into adulthood. Tyron developed his unique style of personal training by focusing on great customer service, building trustful relationships, and paying close attention to detail. In 2013, Tyron left corporate fitness and become an entrepreneur when he launched Taylor Made Fitness, LLC working as a contract Personal Trainer out of multiple gyms in Tulsa. For the next 12 years Tyron began to hone his skills as a motivator, personal trainer and advocate for health and wellness. John Health Club as a fitness instructor. After graduating from NSU in 2000 Tyron began to find his passion in fitness when he joined the staff at St. Washington High School in Tulsa and received his BS degree in Health and Human Performance from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. Tyron Taylor was born and raised in Tulsa Oklahoma. He holds a Master's of Education from the University of Houston. Bush graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. He has taught and coached for a total of 16 years at all levels of education. Moving back into education, at Wesleyan Christian School, he taught Physical Education to PreK-12th grades and coached basketball. During this time he directed all aspects of a transitional housing program that provided housing for homeless families. Bush was given the opportunity to work for a Para church ministry called Vision Onward.

He then took a break from formal education when he took a position as Recreation and Outreach Minister, where he directed the churches recreation ministry. During this time he finished his master’s degree, which led to a teaching position at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, where he taught Physical Education and Exercise Science courses and coached varsity baseball and softball. He taught PreK-8th grade Physical Education and coached soccer, basketball, and baseball. His first teaching position was in Houston, Texas at St.

After graduating from Texas A&M University, Mr. Donald Bush is the 5th and 6th grade Physical Education teacher at Tulsa Honor Academy.
